@vladcampos What @otaviocc said is exactly right if this was a blog post. Newsletters don't have all the same parameters, so no categories currently. I'll add categories this week, seems very useful to have those available..

@canion Make sure you’re using the latest version of Micro.blog, it fixes an encoding issue that looks like you’re running into.
@fgtech Thank you.
@fgtech Oops, fixed. (Typed some of this on my phone and can’t see mistakes as well sometimes.)
@brandontreb Mostly for travel or camping. Nice to have extra power.
@aeryn @pratik If you delete the blog, it can be reused. But yes for other paid blogs we’ll keep hosting them.
@sim0ne Thanks. Yes, this is why we encourage people to use alt text but don’t require it. Posting should be easy and I think there are ways to remind people without guilting them.
@JohnPhilpin @Denny At basketball games at least, fans have also been removed for what they say or shout at players, usually when racist.
@adamprocter @danielpunkass Totally understand, that’s why the setting is there. I think we try to have fun and be entertaining on the show and so that often means joking about serious topics.
@Denny You cover a lot, some I agree with, some I’m not sure about. The sports comparison is interesting… Funny that there are parallels here not just in being loud but also that there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed. Fans are removed from games all the time.
@mackuba I disabled all cross-posting on my blog for a little while. I’ll turn it back on soon but was feeling like I needed to take a quick break from other networks.
@jthingelstad I think this is back on track for your account. Still going to take a while... I'm working on improving how fast this is.
@gregmorris Thank you. I feel good about the balance we have with this.
@fgtech Totally agree. Or worse than tuning out, what we see this week is tuning in to only the most radical parts of what is happening, which also doesn't help.
@pratik Yeah, we need more control over this. Disabling replies per post and being able to curate which replies show on your own blog.
@stupendousman @pratik Haha, yes, that is the whole point! But I sometimes overthink it.
@alans Bummer. How it stays mild.
@amerpie It is difficult because no matter what, someone probably won’t like it. I think there are too many exaggerated hot takes, not that I have any answers either.
@mroutley Should be resuming now. Thanks!
@vladcampos Technically possible, but I think that would require some kind of new setting, since not everyone will want that.
@mroutley Looks like there are some errors while processing the photos. Hope to have a work-around soon, and it'll automatically kick the process off again after that.
@ryanbooker I just looked at Mastodon's bookmarks export. Shouldn't be a problem to add an option for it.
@maique @vincent No worries. Just want to be chasing the bugs in the right place. 🙂 I know we have some goodwill to rebuild.
@stroughtonsmith Agreed. To be clear, I would only do this if it would give me some flexibility for EU customers in a way that was additive, not also undermining my US customers. It's a mess.
