Pretty big change going from 4.7 lbs on the 16-inch MacBook Pro down to 4 lbs. I’m not going to spend $3k for that change, but it’ll be nice when I eventually upgrade.
I sped up the Tapestry timeline by over 350% by getting rid of SwiftUI. Increasingly of the opinion that SwiftUI was a huge mistake.
If I had been in charge at Apple, I would’ve done a streamlined Obj-C and unified all platforms around UIKit. It’s such a mess of different APIs now.
I’ve created a page on my blog to collect some of the photos and train videos I took earlier this month while traveling.

Working on a minor bug fix update to Micro.blog for Mac. Has anything been annoying people that I can address today?

Got lost looking at old NYC subway maps and reading about the 2nd Avenue line. Fascinating to me as an outsider, piecing together the history in little bits at a time.
I’m still updating this gist with notes on recent releases across the platform. It’s a little nerdy, but it helps me keep track of everything on a simple page.
