@bryan Great points. My long-term view is that Micro.blog should be a first-class PDS itself, rather than “just” copying your posts to another PDS hosted at Bluesky or elsewhere. In that world, AT Proto becomes another API we provide, in addition to IndieWeb APIs, XML-RPC, etc. I don’t think that will be the default, but maybe. Need to investigate more.
